Thick Brass Drinking Water Pot From Nepal

In Nepal, this water pot is also known as Karuwa. It is carefully crafted by artisans from Nepal's Palpa area using the lost-wax process. A Karuwa is an essential vessel in many Nepalese households for storing water, drinking, and conducting religious ceremonies. The Karuwa is shaped like a pitcher, with a pouring spout that extends from the side. Karuwa has traditionally been used extensively by Newari families.
