Old Photograph Of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru with Flying Sikh Milkha Singh On Hardboard

Milkha Singh was urged by Pandit Nehru to put aside his recollections of the Partition era in order to compete against Abdul Khaliq in Pakistan in 1960, which he won. After Milkha Singh won gold at the Commonwealth Games in 1958, he requested that Pandit Nehru proclaim a day vacation, which Nehruji quickly agreed to.
