This is a rare Nur Jahan historical Mughal painting. Noorjahan was not only gorgeous and intelligent, but also wise and efficient. Her attractiveness was further enhanced by the usage of valuable jewels. She was also physically powerful and enjoyed riding and hunting. She was a well-educated lady who enjoyed poetry, music, and painting. She was fluent in Persian, had a mastery of the language, and could write poetry in Persian. She had a remarkable talent for coming up with new ideas. She pioneered many new styles of jewellery and clothing. Noorjahan's clothes still ruled society, and the old ones were only found among Afghans in rural towns.
