Kalighat painting of Lord Ganesha, the god of wisdom and the removal of obstacles, was the son of Shiva and Parvati. He is shown as a short, chubby, yellow man with a bulging belly, four hands, and an elephant's head with a single tusk. He is holding a shell, a discus, a club, and a water lily in his hands. He travels in a rat. The painting is in excellent condition and size is 28"x20" and it comes without a frame.
