Handmade Vintage Brass Shiny Kalash Water Pot

This vintage Kalash or water pot is hand carved by skilled Indian workers using ancient methods. It is made of brass alloy with a curved bottom. It has a shiny antique finish. Hindus often use this Kalash as a Purna Kalash in rituals. A Kalash is a water pot with a small mouth, large enough to hold a coconut and a large belly. It becomes a Purna Kalash when it is filled with water or rice and mango leaves are placed on it so that they touch the water and a coconut placed on top.
