Handcrafted Brass Woman's Head Door Knocker

Vintage, heavy brass doorknocker. Cast brass doorknocker of a woman's face with an elaborate acanthus leaf headdress. The knocker section is acanthus leaves with an oval cartouche at the centre. Some small black paint residue on edges and verdigris in parts. It has 2 newer screw attachments.
