Golden Brass Large Victorian lady Face Brass Door Knocker

Solid brass, neoclassical door knocker, it is a quality casting with good detail and depicts the head of a Greek god or goddess crowned with an elaborate vine leaf wreath.Cast brass door knocker of a woman's face with an elaborate acanthus leaf headdress. The knocker section has acanthus leaves with a female face at the top . Some small black paint residue on edges and verdigris in parts. It has 2 newer screw attachments.
